BCKPCKR designs and builds native Mac applications for founders, agencies, and in-house teams across Boston, Cambridge, and the rest of New England. macOS is a deep platform with rich frameworks, and we write software that actually feels at home there — keyboard shortcuts, menu bar integration, proper document handling, drag-and-drop, and all the small touches Mac users notice.

Our macOS stack

We build in Swift using SwiftUI for modern interfaces and AppKit where the extra control matters. We're comfortable with Core Data, SwiftData, Combine, async/await, XPC services, and the sandboxing rules that come with distribution — both inside and outside the App Store.
